On April 24–25, 2026, Bishkek will host the XXI International Jazz Festival “Jazz Bishkek Spring” — one of the most anticipated cultural events of the spring.
The festival is held under the motto “Music Without Borders” and for over twenty years has united countries, cultures, and musical traditions. Its mission is to strengthen international cultural cooperation through the art of jazz, creating a space of friendship, dialogue, and mutual understanding among peoples.
Since 2018, the festival has been included in the official calendar of events dedicated to UNESCO’s International Jazz Day (April 30).
Over the years, 176 ensembles from 23 countries have performed on the festival stage, and in 2026 confirmed participants include musicians from: France, Spain, Estonia, Italy, South Korea, and Kyrgyzstan.
The audience can look forward to two evenings of live music, improvisation, and vibrant international collaborations reflecting the full diversity of contemporary jazz.
