Uncover Kyrgyzstan’s Treasures in Seven Days

After breakfast, we check out of the hotel and start our journey. The first stop will be the Kegety Gorge – one of the most beautiful gorges in Kyrgyzstan, located about 90 km from Bishkek. We’ll see a 20-meter waterfall in Kegety and touch the history of the mysterious land of Kyrgyzstan. The next stop will be the Burana Tower – one of the most famous archaeological monuments in Kyrgyzstan. We’ll end the day with a horseback ride at sunset through the beautiful Chon Kemin Gorge. Overnight in a comfortable mountain hotel.

After breakfast, we head towards the Konorchek Canyon. Here we’ll do a short trek along the canyon bed. This amazing place, shaped by thousands of years of soil erosion, features majestic clay sculptures and an impressive scale. This place is famous for the remains of the ancient Segizkhan-Shokny volcano. You can find remnants of ancient seashells here, from when the sea covered this area. Then we head to the northern shore of Lake Issyk Kul in the city of Cholpon Ata. Arrival in Cholpon Ata, lunch, check-in at the hotel. In the evening, we’ll visit the petroglyph museum and meet the sunset on board a pleasure boat on Lake Issyk Kul.

After breakfast, we head towards the city of Karakol. On the way, we’ll visit the Chon Ak Suu Gorge for a picnic with a beautiful view. Then we’ll cross the Kok Tor pass, visit the Kirchin Valley, and see the Semyonov Gorge. Arrival in Karakol, check-in at the hotel. In the evening, we’ll go kayaking on Lake Issyk Kul.

We start the day with breakfast and then set off on our journey. Today we will visit the Jeti Oguz Gorge with its unique red rocks, the Kok Jaiyk Valley, where we’ll walk to the Maiden Braids waterfall. We’ll meet the sunset on the foothills of the “Fairy Tale” Canyon with a short trek. Overnight in a real Kyrgyz yurt on the shore of Lake Issyk Kul.

After breakfast on the shore of Lake Issyk Kul in the Yurt camp, we’ll head to the “Barskoon” Gorge, where we’ll walk along the trail to the “Tears of the Bars” waterfall. Then we’ll conquer the high passes of the gorge, with our final destination being the incredibly beautiful Arabellian Syrts, located at an altitude of 4000 meters above sea level. Here we’ll walk to the “Manas Bowl” waterfall. Then we’ll head to the ancient city of Kochkor. On the way, we’ll visit the villages of Tamga and Kyzyl Tuu, and meet the sunset on the shore of the Ortokoyskoe Reservoir. Arrival in Kochkor, check-in at a cozy guest house.

In the morning, after breakfast, we’ll visit a very authentic local bazaar. Then we’ll head towards Lake Son Kul – the second-largest high-mountain lake in Kyrgyzstan. Ahead of us are the steepest climbs and descents, breathtaking landscapes of majestic mountains. Dinner and overnight stay in a yurt camp. On clear nights, you can observe billions of stars and even do some night sky photography.

After breakfast, we’ll head to Bishkek – the journey will take about 6 hours. Upon arrival in Bishkek, lunch, then a City Tour around the city. We’ll visit Ala-Too Central Square, Manas Monument (the main hero of the Kyrgyz), Victory Square, and Osh Market.
